THE CHALLENGE:
1000 Hours Outside was growing exponentially and needed to release an official app before competitors beat them to it. The app needed a way to track time spent outside and also to record moments a family experiences together.
MY ROLE:
Principal Designer. Focused on User Experience and User Interface. I have created an intuitive, easy to navigate, delightful experience for the users through user research, journey mapping, wireframing, prototyping, and iteration.
THE OUTCOME:
The community was excited and eager to adopt the new app. Overall positive response from users. We have recently added new features including coloring pages, community feeds, and history graphs as well as our newest Recommendations feature with searchable map, ratings of places, and reviews by other 1KHO members.
